Welcome to our blog!
We are originally from the Czech repubic (well, Ondrej is, I'm also half italian) and we're currently based in Australia. After speding half of our lives in Prague it was time for a change, so in early 2025 we chose to embark on our biggest adventure yet. We both traveled a fair bit all across Europe and the furthest we've been before going to Australia was the USA for me and China and the Philippines for Ondrej in 2019.
In December 2024 we spent 5 weeks in Australia on a tourist visa and during that time we completele fell in love with the people, the nature and the whole lifestyle. So in March 2025 we applied for a Work and Holiday (462) visa, in May we bought a one way ticket and in September we landed in Sydney. We then quickly finished our 88 days and that's how our australian adventure began.
We both studied biology in university and are absolutely fascinated by mother nature and wildlife, which means most of our trips are focused on hiking, camping and fishing- be prepared to see a lot of that here!
